Santa Maria la Scala is a small fishing village and a sea-side resort set at the foot of the "timpa" nature reserve. It is enviably positioned between the sea and the volcano with it's centre focused around a 17th century church; the village has remained essentially unchanged throughout the years. "Villa Agata" is a romantic residence dating back to 1883 and can be found directly on the sea front. The Villa has been refurbished in such a way as to retain all the beauty of it's original historical characteristics. There are six rooms in all, three of which have original fresco ceilings and all rooms have en-suite bathroom. air conditioning, TV,telephone and minibar. Each room has a balcony overlooking the sea, breakfast can be enjoied outside on the terrace.
